What data we collect and why

Your IP address

When you visit this site, your Internet Protocol (IP) address is automatically sent in the request headers by your browser. We use it to display your approximate geolocation, Internet Service Provider, and connection classification on the page.

Legal basis:legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation — providing the tool's core function would be impossible without processing the IP address. We do not store your IP address after the request completes. Each visit is processed fresh and discarded.

Browser signals

Your browser exposes the following through standard JavaScript APIs: your time zone, language, User Agent (browser + operating system), Do Not Track preference, and connection speed (where supported). These signals are processed entirely inside your browser and are never sent to our servers. They are never stored. They exist only in your open browser tab and disappear when you close it.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving analytics beacon. It uses no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does notcollect personal data. Cloudflare's privacy notice is available at cloudflare.com/trust-hub/privacy-and-data-protection.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links to Virtual Private Network (VPN) providers (such as NordVPN and Surfshark). Clicking these links does not transmit your personal data to us. The affiliate network receives a click identifier that credits us if you make a purchase. The VPN providers have their own privacy policies, linked from their sites.

Data retention

We do not operate a user database. There are no accounts. No stored browsing history. No persistent identifiers. No login. Nothing to delete because nothing is kept.

Your rights (if you are in the EU or EEA)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Because we do not store your IP address or any other personal data, most of these rights are automatically satisfied — there is nothing for us to produce or delete.
